MURDER MYSTERY 

On the outskirts of Hull in 1891 a young girl was found brutally murdered. This tragic case remains unsolved… or does it?

THE VENUE 

Arrive from 6.30pm at Ye Olde House, which originates from circa 1450 and has its own blue plaque confirming it’s the oldest domestic dwelling and only surviving timber-framed house in Hull.

Peppered with period features, this charasmatic venue with its exposed beams and 500 year old features offer a truly unique ambiance and up the stairs in the front room is where we are gathering. . 

The bar will be open for alcoholic beverages, hot and cold drinks and cake too of course.  (Please note that the venue now offers a limited menu and main meals are no longer on offer). 

AUTHOR OF “THE MARFLEET MURDER MYSTERY”

Kindly joining us after our hour of silent reading is Mike Covell, Hull historian, prolific author, paranormal expert, to name but a few strings to his bow. Also the man behind ‘Amazing Hull Tours’ with a penchant for the dark and mysterious.

Please note - This is a grade II listed building so I’m afraid it may not be accessible for everyone as our event will take place up a flight of stairs in the front room. 

Our room is private but the venue is open to the public just to make you aware. 

Only 20 places are available, limited to ensure insurance adequately covers the event.
