📓 Our familiar hour or reading together (so remember to bring your books!) 

🗝️ An old Hull tradition was to tell ghost stories at Christmas and we are bringing that back. Hull historian Mike Covell will tell us tales as we sit by the twinkling Christmas tree sipping hot chocolate and munching. 

THE VENUE 

 We call it Book Hub And it’s the base camp of The Silent Book Club Hull.

You will find it set back from the corner of Wymersley Road near Springhead Golf course (and also visible from Willerby Road). There stands a little building in glorious green surroundings that until recently hadn’t been very loved.

SCHEDULE 

6.00pm - Arrival and settle into a seat 

6.30pm-7.30pm - Hour of quiet reading together 

7.45pm  - Ghost Stories and local history  

8.45pm  - finish 

 
Please note - The Hub has wide doors and accessible toilets though has no ramp at the entrance yet. There are four steps up into the building. 

Only 20 places are available limited to ensure insurance covers the event. 

All tickets are non-refundable so please make sure you can make it on the night as refunds will not be issued.
